History Of C J Logging Equipment, Inc

C J Logging Equipment Inc. derives its name from Carl J. (C.J.) Bourgeois, a local entrepreneur, and began its operation out of C.J.'s garage in Boonville. C.J. was well-known in the region for selling Harley Davidson and Husqvarna Motorcycles, Lonestar boats, Polaris snowmobiles (of which he sold the first in the northeast), and firearms from his garage.

When C.J's garage was passed down to the next generation, grandsons Mark and Gary Bourgeois were working for an uncle in the forest industry. Mark and Gary soon realized that loggers in the Boonville area needed a local dealership to provide equipment and service.

The family decided to use C.J.'s garage to provide these needs because of its location and name recognition. C J Logging Equipment Inc. was founded in 1981 to provide:
